Next branch meeting

We have just held our latest branch meeting on 30th January. Please visit this page to find out the date of our next one and proposed agenda.

Brexit demonstrations in London - next main one on 14th February

I am not a European
Some of us attended the Brexit Betrayal March in London on Sunday 9th December 2018 (read about it here) and various branch members have attended gatherings to support Brexit outside Parliament on the days leading up to and on the dates of key votes on May's shoddy Withdrawal Deal. Key dates have been 15th and 29th January.

The next voting date on May's deal is 14th February. Other dates are:

  • 27th February - Downing Street is trying to head off a potential Tory Remainer mutiny by promising MPs will get another set of votes by this date regardless of whether there is a final deal.

  • 26th March - possible make or break vote on May's deal 72hrs before we are scheduled to leave.

But all members must be on alert for demonstrations in London to support Brexit. Please check back here regularly to find out what events, formal or informal, are happening. Street demonstrations work. They get noticed by the media and thus politicians. WATCH THIS SPACE!
